Welcome to the Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild!
Come Join Us and Support Your Quilting Habit!
We are a group of quilters, quilt lovers, sewers, "wannabe" quilters, needle artists and any others who just want to be attached to the world of quilts. We all love fabric and thread. We thrive on the companionship and get inspired by one another. We enjoy giving, receiving, and sharing in each others knowledge and expertise.
Our monthly meetings include various activities such as enjoying a guest speaker's trunk show or slideshow, mini workshops where we share techniques, door prizes, and Show and Tell. Also, other activities we share are Sew and Tell, a newsletter that keeps us informed, Challenge Projects, Secret Pal, an extensive library, Community Service Projects, a Quilt Show, and many more activities too numerous to list.

PROGRAM:
June will bring us lots of fun with Kris Sazaki & Deb Cashatt – The Pixeladies
These two fun loving gals will present “Ack ! There’s a Computer in my Studio” on Saturday, June 8th. Kris & Deb will present their version of a trunk show where they demonstrate how to use your computer to enhance their art and sewing projects. They will show you how they develop designs, create fabric and organize images (& themselves) using computer technology.

On Sunday, June 9th we will have a “Batik Watercolor Quilts Workshop”. Watercolor quilts show gradual color changes to give an impressionist feel. In this workshop you will create a 20” x 20” quilt made of 2 1/2” batik squares. Cost for the class is $30 and there is a mandatory kit fee of $20 which includes pre-cut, pre-fused batik squares for your quilt.
